I am taking the kids to Disney World next week. Amazingly, all the travel I have done in my life, I have never once been to Disney World or Disneyland for that matter. My parents didn’t believe in vacations; at least not when my brothers and I were growing up. So I guess then it should come as no surprise that my kids have never been to Disney either. My daughter told me the other day that she is the only one in her class — including her teacher — that has never been to Disney.
Surprisingly, I am actually looking forward to it. I was able to use my frequent flyer miles for the tickets and Disney is running some really good packages lately. So we will be in Disney for 5 days. This is the first real trip my kids have been on. It should be interesting.
