A robin made a nest on top of the lamp on my deck. The lamp is to the right of the deck door but I only noticed the nest a few weeks ago.
The nest is too high for me to look in without a ladder but I held the camera above my head and snapped a few pictures.

And here is the nest this afternoon.
From what I can tell there are four baby robins in the nest. Their eyes were closed yesterday, but it looks like they are just opening their eyes now. The mother built the nest but I’ve noticed that both parents continually fly to the nest to feed the babies.
It won’t be long now before the babies start to fly. I only hope the dogs aren’t around then.
