I am starting think the marketing people at Geico are smoking crack. I rarely watch commercials to begin with. Normally I just ignore them when they come on. But for some reason I find Geico commercials especially annoying and will change the channel as soon as they start.
First it was piles of money with “googly” eyes. Now, maybe I am just getting old, but I find these commercials idiotic. They make absolutely no sense. But as much as I hate the stupid googly eyes commercials, I absolutely cannot stand the talking pothole commercials! When this commercial comes on I immediately change the channel. It’s that annoying.
In the commercial, a talking pothole with a horribly fake, trailer-trash-southern accent causes a flat tire. Everyone living below the Mason Dixon Line should be highly insulted!
Maybe they are marketing geniuses, because I am blogging about it here. But I would never even consider switching my insurance to Gieco solely based on the moronic commercials.
And don’t get me started about the Free Credit Report dot com commercials…
