I’ve posted on this before, but I think it is worth posting again. Too many people are under the misconceptions that the United States of America is a Democracy. It is NOT! The United States of America is a Constitutional Republic. You know, “…and to the Republic, for which it stands, One Nation, Under God, with Liberty and Justice for All!”

This is one of my pet peeves too! I always love the look on the person’s face when I ask them to recite the pledge of allegiance and they get to, “And to the Republic, for which … HUH!?!”
