One summer when I was kid, my friends and I put on the Wizard of Oz for the whole neighborhood. We spent most of our summer vacation building sets, learning our lines, and rehearsing. My mom of course made all the costumes. I was the Lion. Someday I need to get that picture posted.
Back then there were no VHS or DVDs. We had to learn our lines from watching the television broadcasts every year and playing over and over, a record of the soundtrack with some of the dialog.
This dog version of The Wizard of Oz was made for BBC’s Over The Rainbow talent search for the next Toto. Very cool!
