What’s the point of this site? Nothing really.
I started this site way before they called it “blogging”. Back then there was no WordPress or blogging software. I did it all in straight HTML. Every “post” was a manual edit. It was my way of teaching myself HTML and scripting.
As the technology evolved, I’ve continued to experiment. I am not a programmer by any means, but I enjoy learning new things. I love updating, tweaking, and experimenting with ideas. I love to create things; whether they are physical, tangible objects or purely digital.
The site is not meant to be political or make a statement — although I do tend to rant on a few things now and then. This is just a place where my friends and family can view my pictures and read about what’s going on. It’s where I can ramble on about stuff that I find interesting — stuff I would likely discuss in person with family, friends, and people I don’t even know. I do a lot of that while I am traveling. Some of my most interesting conversations have been with total strangers on airplanes or at the bar in my hotel.
So, I hope you enjoy my almost daily postings. I try to keep it fresh and interesting. Feel free to comment if you like. At least I’ll know someone is reading…
