WordPress 3.0 is finally out! I am really excited about this new version. WP 3.0 was code named “Thelonious” after one of my all time favorite Jazz musicians! I can’t wait to install it and start messing around with all the new features!
I can’t remember the last time I used a floppy disk. I’m actually surprised that they still make them! But according to Sony, they still sell about 12 million a year. Wow! Who still uses floppy disks? The USS Forrestal departed Newport today for Philadelphia. Here are some pictures of the supercarrier as it makes its way under the Newport Bridge.
Today is Flag Day. Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States of America in 1777 by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.
Here is a picture I took of my flag a few summers ago. I can’t wait for this movie! Toy Story is my favorite Pixar film. In Toy Story 3 Andy is now going off to college and the toys get thrown away by mistake. Woody, Buzz, and the gang end up at a Day Care. But the Day Care ends up being more like a prison. They had corn on the cob in the grocery store today so I decided to make my special grilled corn on the cob to go along with my grilled chicken tonight. Directions Place the corn on the grill and turn often. You want to get a nice golden to dark brown on the husks. Be careful not to over cook the corn or it will dry out. It’s better to under cook. When you pull them off the grill they will continue to cook. Once you pull the corn off the grill, place on a serving tray and then use a butter knife to butter all sides of each cob. Repeat the same with mayonnaise. Sprinkle the cobs with shredded Queso cheese. Dust lightly with chilli powder and black pepper. Enjoy while still warm! I haven’t gotten to see Iron Man 2 yet, but I am wondering if this might be Iron Man 3 the prequel. lol Cool! 108 two-liter bottles of Coke Zero and 648 Mentos propel this car 221 feet! |
